The heated outdoor pool in Cheltenham is a much-loved venue for swimmers but offers so much more to all members of the community. Our brief was to get this message across by creating a user-friendly website and booking system.

Fun, family and heritage all in one
We wanted to portray Sandford Parks Lido as a modern Cheltenham venue for recreation and activity while celebrating its heritage at the same time.
Using a combination of enticing new footage and archive images, we’ve shown the history and development of the lido and also its significance to the local community.
Mobile-friendly online booking system
The lido caters for a wide target audience, including elderly members and students, families and fitness swimmers, so the website had to appeal to a range of users.Part of our brief was to promote the sales of season tickets which we achieved by simplifying the message and design of the packages.
The mobile experience was crucial to this website design so we kept things simple by sectioning out the different swim and activity options and building in regular call to action buttons to help users navigate the site.
